Posh appears on cover of Vogue

Here’s Victoria Beckham going all Gone With the Wind on the cover of the April issue of Vogue – out Monday. According to the style icon, the cover shoot was one of the most exciting days of her life.
"It's tough being a pop star and a footballer's wife,” Posh claims in the accompanying interview. “I'm aware of people's preconceptions,” she added. “For the other girls, it's their business, but I don't do that any more. My business is fashion.”
La Beckham also talked about her weight: "I would never put my health at risk. Obviously working out is important. Well, I don't. I have joined a gym but I can't bring myself to start.”
“What do you wear on the running machine?” she joked. “I can't bring myself to wear flat shoes."
Alexandra Shulman, the magazine’s editor, explained the thinking behind the glamorous images, taken by top photographer Nick Knight: “The pictures quite coincidentally echo some of Cecil Beaton's famous portraits for Vogue during the ’40s, and demonstrate the Eliza Doolittle quality of Victoria veering from mannered hauteur to the trashy sexiness of her exposed back laced with tattoos."
Meanwhile, Victoria has been approached by US TV network Fox to make a fashion show, called Fashion Nightmares. The programme, it seems, would basically be like Gordon Ramsay’s Kitchen Nightmares, but involving “fixing” fashion-foolish individuals and boutiques.
“They want her to visit some boutiques and beauty pageants in real backwater towns and to try to whip them into chic shape,” said a source. Go Posh!
